nothing was beautiful and everything hurt

theres this vonnegut quote that everyone gets tattoos of, and i saw the same phrase spraypainted on the sidewalk in front of a cafe the other day. don't get me wrong, i love kurt vonnegut, and his quote is beautiful...its just feels so overly saturated now.
